The Chinese businessmen of Xàbia have made, this Tuesday, an important donation of batches of masks to the Town hall. In total, they have delivered 6.600 units, 3.000 of them delivered directly to the Health Center and the rest will be distributed among local police officers, Civil Guard, street cleaning personnel and municipal buildings as well as Civil Protection volunteers or Red Cross so that they can safely carry out their important work of public service.
Mayor, José Chulvi, thanked the Chinese community and the neighbor, María Ángeles Espasa Castelló, for this solidarity action, who has acted as a mediator between the Consistory and the businessmen who have wanted to launch a message of joint struggle.
Chulvi has taken the opportunity to send a message of encouragement to the population in the face of the difficult times they are going through and grateful for their effort, responsibility and commitment to health instructions to stop this pandemic.
