El Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, has received, on Monday morning, the chefs Clara Puig and Borja Susilla, from the Tula restaurant, and Laura Elena García Miralrío, from Bon Amb.
The three professionals won important awards in the Madrid Fusion 2019 contest, held last month. The chefs of the Tula took the bronze medal in the contest Revelation Cook, one of the most important awards of the Spanish gastronomic scene; while the pastry specialist of Bon Amb achieved third place in the revelation baker.
The mayor wanted to personally convey their congratulations for this important boost to their professional careers, which at the same time claims local gastronomy as a whole, a sector that is currently experiencing a moment of great progression and has become an incentive to enjoy Xàbia all year.
