Xàbia shipowners have rejected unanimously the construction project which aims to make a marina berths which are currently occupied by fishing boats.
The decision was made at the meeting they held at the Fishermen's Guild premises yesterday afternoon. It was 25 people who gathered and expressed their opinions on the offer received.
On this occasion the tranquility presided over the meeting of the shipowners. We must remember that in the previous meeting they held, shortly before Christmas, the faces were very long when they left it.
Fishermen are committed to further develop their business and retain their moorings as well as the building of the current market, which is reflected in the port remodeling project.
