Lovers of bullfighting demand respect and freedom in the manifestation of Xàbia

Around half a thousand people according to the organizers, 200 according to the Local Police, took part in the demonstration organized by the Taurine Cultural Association of Xàbia. At six o'clock in the afternoon the protesters left from the Plaza de la Marina Alta, passed through Prince of Asturias, placeta del Convent, Ronda Sur, Roques and Celestino Pons with an end in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

The march was led by carts that were in their antlers fireballs, in clear allusion to the "Bous embolats". Behind them the president of the Cultural Association of Xàbia Taurine, Guillermo Bolufer accompanied by other partners carried a banner that respect and freedom to all forms of bullfights requested. This association was supported by the Foundation Breeders of fighting bulls and other arrivals from several points of Valencia.

The protesters arrived in front of the Javea Town Hall and right-hander Javier Vázquez read a statement from the Taurine Union of Valencia and the Federation of bullfighting rocks of bous al carrer of Valencia. Among other things used to say that "Bullfighting fans request of the Administrations fair and equal to all other Spanish deal, especially in these times that are being committed outrages against bullfighting". Vazquez, he read, "Bullfighting is part of the historical and cultural heritage of all Spaniards, their celebration raises in VAT 139 million euros 2015 1800 and celebrations in bullrings and more than 16000 popular celebrations were held". Finally, the matador said, "Bullfighting responsibility of all public authorities and only we demand freedom and respect".
