Xàbia Local Police agents have improved this week their training in the care of serious traffic accidents. The municipality has hosted the specialized accident reconstruction course, approved by the Ivaspe, and also attended by agents from other municipalities such as Benitatxell, Gata de Gorgos or El Campello.
Mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Pepa Gisbert, have participated in the closing of this course that will allow a much more advanced investigation of traffic accidents, especially those that have serious consequences.
Furthermore, the Town hall has acquired technical equipment for this task, as well as the computer programs necessary to process the information collected at the scene of the accident.
The mayor has valued the willingness of local agents to be better trained and thereby improve citizen care in a service of great importance to the population. The Councilor for Security also wanted to highlight the effort of the municipality because its police have all the means, in material and training, to give the best response. Not surprisingly, Gisbert said, the Local Police is the body of greater
proximity and therefore, is usually the first to reach many of the emergencies.
