Comes the seventh edition of Tapeo de Xàbia Historical

"A consolidated event that serves to promote the gastronomy of the Historic Center", thus defined the mayor of Economic Development, Juan Luís Cardona, the Tapas of Historical Xàbia. As usual, the tapas, which is presented as a gastronomic culture event, will be held in the Plaza de la Constitución, the only thing that changes are the dates, since this year the Tapas will take place two weeks before what is usually held, in this seventh edition, it will be held on September 13, 14 and 15. The change of dates has been motivated by the rains, since in some editions such as last year, the tapas were affected by the rain, also on these dates there are still tourists in the municipality, so it is useful for them to know the gastronomy of the area. It is also provided as a novelty that instead of taking place over two days, the day on Friday afternoon is also included. As Sisco Vallés, president of Xàbia Histórica, has stated, the event also presents as a novelty that it is included in the gastroxàbia project, so the quality of the product and the tapas will be more careful.

The schedule will be Friday 13 tapas from the 18: 00 h. until closing on Saturday 14 12 of: 00 h. at 16: 00 h. and 18: 00 h. to close. Sunday tapas session will end with a meal schedule 12: 00 h. at 16: 00 h. There will be a total of 17 participants to be installed in a improved infrastructure as this year 600 meters will be tent in case it rains. Tastings bars this year are presented as a menu, and the triptych local specialties in starters, seafood, meats and sausages and desserts are divided. Each local 25 square meters will assemble and decorate his place, because this year the bars themselves will be responsible for decorating your bar or restaurant to transmit an image of each own distinct business. Tops as usual will be priced at 1,50 euros.

Since the organization is estimated that this year will be sold tickets 36.000 39.000 to an event that went from 8.000 tickets in its first edition in 44.000 2011 tickets. Last year the figure was somewhat lower, 30.000, as the rain prevented the event meets expectations. The gastronomic events will accompany live performances and activities for children.
