Jávea comes to the music of the Balkans

On Thursday, August 15, fans of folk music have an appointment on Avenida Jaume I, in the Port of Jávea, where from 22: 00 h. the group "Mladost", will bring to the villa the most typical folk music and dances of the Balkans such as the makacice or the kolo.

The performance is part of the Alicante International Folk Festival, organized by the Diputación and the Town hall from Alicante, which will take the festival to other parts of the province of Alicante. In addition, this initiative is completely free and will take place outdoors.

The Serbian group Mladost is made up of 30 people between musicians and dancers, and was created more than 30 years ago in the city of Belgrade. The group has performed in different parts of the world such as Austria, Belgium, Ukraine, England, Poland, France, Germany, Egypt, Sweden, North America and Asia. "Mladost" has won several awards and distinctions and during the festival they will offer 20 choreographies of different customs throughout Serbia.
