Leroy Merlin COMPACT will open, tomorrow 13 of February, the doors to the public of its new facilities located in Ondara, the first in the region of the Marina Alta. The merger between Leroy Merlin and AKI at the beginning of this 2019 has created this new store that has involved an approximate investment of 1.200.000 euros and that will have a staff of more than 70 people and will create 25 indirect jobs.
The Leroy Merlin Compact store of Ondara, which has an area of 3.100 square meters, has been modified from AKI to Leroy Merlin Compact, in just three weeks, where it will offer a selection of products that will make shopping more comfortable, as well as a personalized service to specify ideas and projects about the home.
This Tuesday, 12 in February, the institutional inauguration of the facilities was celebrated, with the presence of the Mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro Pastor, the Regional Director of the Levante region of Leroy Merlin Spain, José Luis Ramírez and the Director of Leroy Merlin COMPACT Ondara, Blas Stones.
Piedras has highlighted the intense transformation process of the store, the first in Compact format of the Valencian Community that includes a large tent outside for garden furniture. The store has 12.000 references in stock and 70.000 references on request, which enables customers and collaborators to have the full range of Leroy Merlin products.
José Luis Ramírez, for his part, has shown his gratitude to all the teams that have participated in the opening process.
The parliaments have finished with the mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro, who has stated that he is satisfied because "The successes of the company will be the successes of Ondara". Ramiro recalled the important commitment of the Town hall of Ondara by the commercial estate of Ondara for the municipality and for the Marina Alta.
The event was also attended by several members of the Management Committee of Leroy Merlin Spain as Juan Sevillano, Development Director and Marta Díaz, Head of Expansion.
Leroy Merlin Compact Ondara will open from Monday to Saturday, from 8: 00 to 22: 00 hours. To celebrate its opening, only on Wednesday will it offer 15% discounts on its products.
