The Associations of Public Moorings of ports of the Valencian Community met last Saturday in Altea in a Pre-Foundational Board to continue with the process of setting up the Federation of Associations of Public Moorings of the CV (FAAPCV), while consolidating the adaptation of all the Associations that constitute it, which is expected to be active in the next two years.
At the meeting, the participants, representatives of different Associations, approved to continue with the Draft Statutes, defining the general margins of action of the Federation and the specific margins of each Association, with the support of the entire FAAPCV
The attending members set a calendar of 1 or 2 meetings / year, giving time to unify criteria in knowing,
identify, share, and focus on the problems, starting with the main one of preserving, defending and optimizing the Public Moorings of the Valencian Community.
After these general actions, problems and deficiencies were also addressed in the application of the Rules and Laws in the Management of Moorings of Public Ownership in the Ports of Direct Management of the Generalitat as recover the ramps and their access, which were available as a service included in the G5 for Public Moorings in Ports of Direct Management of the Generalitat. Likewise, recover the Surveillance Service that other Ports were available and available, with the installation of surveillance cameras and dissuasive posters, s / Art.98. Inspection and general surveillance of Ports. (Law 2 / 2014.- Ports of the Generalitat).
From the collective it was also ratified to demand the publication of the waiting lists of moorings as those available in other ports for assignment of Base Public Mooring / Vessel, section, registration date and cancellations. In addition to representing the 82% of the Ports with Public Moorings of the Valencian Community, contact other ports with Public Moorings that have sufficient representation.
