L'Agrupació Fotogràfica Xàbia held this weekend the 'VI Xàbia Photographic Rally'

Last Friday took place the VI AFX Photo Rally, which was attended by a large number of photographers from different locations in the province of Alicante. The organization thanked the great acceptance of this event as they have presented a total of 43 collections of photographs.

This year, as the main novelty, the organization had marked the entire municipality of Xàbia as an area of ​​objectives, but at the same time it had delimited the Montgó area and the area of ​​the Hermitage of Calvari, which allowed participants to have more space and time when facing their work.

The jury, formed by Francisco Catalá (AF Xàbia), Pepe Mengual (Fotoclub Forat) and Toni Signes (AFAPedreguer) deliberated among all the photographs presented and gave the verdict of the winners, an event that took place in Casa Primicias and where they were projected all images of the contest.

Subsequently, with the presence of councilors Quico Moragues y Antonio Miragall, as well as the president of the Association of Merchants of the Historic Center of Xàbia, Juan Planelles, was given the prizes of the VI AFX 2017 Photographic Ralli. The trophy given to the Best Collection has been designed and made by the artist from Denia, Juan Luis López Escar.
