With the motto "Against les violències masclites, pacte d'estat ja!", There Xarxa de Dones of the Marina Alta will celebrate the commemorative events of International Women's Day.
On Friday March 4 will take place the demonstration-concentration and the local dinner where the prizes will be handed out.
To the 19: 30 hours the demonstration will start in the Glorieta and will cross Marqués de Campo street at the rhythm that marks with its music the the Xareta. In front of the Red Cross, a manifesto will be read in defense of equality and for the fight against gender violence.
Subsequently, at 21 hour, it will be held in the restaurant Los Arcos of Pedreguer the local dinner of the Xarxa de Dones, in which the 8 awards will be handed out to the Sisters Simon and the Antigone Association of Valencia. The event will feature a performance by Paqui Noguera and images of last year's dinner will be screened. In addition, a report on the participation of the Xarxa in the demonstration held last November 7 in Madrid against sexist violence.
