Learning a language is much simpler and more effective if the student performs a full language immersion in which he is forced to speak the 24 hours a day in the language you are learning. If before many people had the opportunity to go abroad to live with foreign families for a while now, with the crisis, the chances diminish.
For this reason, the associated center of the UNED of Dénia has launched this idea of linguistic immersion but without leaving the country. And it is that from 1 to July 12 will offer intensive English courses in which the students will live with the British families of Xàbia.
Courses, as explained by the coordinator of university extension, Jaume Tortosa, are aimed at over 18 years and will include 6 hours of intensive classroom and practice talking while having breakfast and dinner with host families, with who share homes and carry out activities for the weekend to know their culture and customs.
The price of tuition, accommodation and material is 800 euros and can be done from the website of the UNED, where you should also perform a test to determine English proficiency of applicants.
