The UNED of Denia approves the budget of 2018 that amounts to more than one million euros

Yesterday Friday, the Plenary of the Governing Board of the University Consortium of the Associated Center to the UNED of Denia took place, who presided over the Deputy of Plans of Improvements to Municipalities, Bernabé Cano, and the Director of the Center, Raquel Martí. The plenary also attended mayors and councilors of the municipalities that are part of the Consortium and the different coordinators of the Center, among them was the Councilor for Education Xàbia, Montse Villaverde.

Among the items on the agenda, the budget for the 2018 exercise amounting to 1.177.466,32 euros (an 1% above current) was approved and the 2017 was liquidated, as of 30 in June. In addition, the 2016 report of the General Administration of the State Administration (IGAE) was approved, free of any objection, and the accounts of the 2016 exercise were approved.

The deputy, Bernabé Cano, stated that "All municipalities are aware of the payments, some contributions that facilitate the UNED can work properly and fulfill their obligations, which results in a better environment for teachers, and consequently for students".

News for the new course

During the meeting, the director of the UNED of Dénia announced the incorporation of the degree of Criminology within the regulated academic offer, aiming "Which is the novelty of this course, and has already interested many people for him. The forecast is that we have a student superior to the previous course ".

Also, Martí explained the management report, presenting the main activities and initiatives that have been carried out during this last year, both those that are part of the regulated teachings and those whose objective is to bring culture and knowledge to the citizenship.

In addition, he realized the Prize of the Social Council of 2016 granted to the Seminar of Students of the Center Associated to the UNED in Denia, recognizing the good practices. Finally, the mayor of Denia, referred to the Associated Center as "An institution necessary to facilitate access to education for all citizens."
