The Department of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality has selected a total of 668 proposals who meet the requirements to continue in the Participatory Budgeting process of the Generalitat after the review process that was carried out between May 31 and June 8.
After screening the 875 proposals presented, Valencians and Valencians can access from this Wednesday, June 9, and until June 27 to give their support to a maximum of 10 proposals, both at the regional level and from any of the county areas.
Of the total investment, 37,5 million euros at the regional level, the Generalitat will allocate 13,7 million euros in the Central Regions, to which the Marina Alta belongs. In the case of the proposals presented specifically from Xàbia and, in general, from the Marina Alta, a total of 150 supports are required to continue the process and reach the end to be evaluated.

The purchase and rehabilitation of the historic Casa Bolufer to give it a cultural use and the acquisition and adaptation of an abandoned building, of new construction, for social housing are the two ideas open to voting to obtain a minimum of 150 supports and that are valued between June 28 and September 12. From there, the procedure will continue with the publication of prices, the voting of the projects and will end with the results of the proposals that will be included in the Generalitat's accounts for 2022, which will be announced on October 28.
Among the 13 proposals of the region (included in Central Regions), those referring to the field of mobility stand out. More connection in public transport and the unification of bike lanes are some of the proposals that the Council seeks endorsement to be carried out.
Likewise, from the Podemos circle of Xàbia they point out that three projects presented by them have passed to the endorsement phase, two of regional scope and one local (Democratic quality. Electoral program (CV), Social Housing in Xàbia, Energy Sovereignty. Photovoltaic ( CV)).
As indicated by the Generalitat, the approved initiatives will then be monitored and controlled, starting from their incorporation into the Generalitat's 2022 Budget project and until their execution.
