From next Monday 24 October, Plaza Celestino Pons and Sister María Gallart street will be repaved. A performance improvement starts from the Department of Works and have a cost of 55.000 euros. For the start of this work is taken into account the views of traders since the works have a lead time of one month.
During the duration of the works, on Avenida de Alicante (in front of La Caixa) and in Ronda Norte (in front of Bodega Miguel), provisional loading and unloading areas and containers will be set up. However, at both points both the bus lane and the existing taxi ranks will be preserved. The Councilor for Works, Kika Mata, Explained that as work progresses they will open up sections to return the containers and the loading and unloading area to its original location.
