The National Police has clarified the theft of a clarinet valued at 1.500 euros that was stolen from one of the classrooms of the School of Music in the town of Dénia.
The events took place on June 12 when the owner of the clarinet left the instrument in one of the classrooms of the School of Music in the town of Dénia. On his return he was no longer there. The injured party filed a complaint with the National Police of that town. Investigators quickly began conducting the necessary investigations to clarify the facts.
Fruit of the viewing of the images of the cameras that the school has, the agents verified that indeed a man accessed the classroom where the instrument was and left there with him. The instrument was for sale on a web portal days after it was stolen.
Subsequently, the injured party realized that the clarinet was sold on a web portal for buying and selling second-hand items for a value lower than its original price and located in Navarra. The agents determined that the seller in turn had bought it from the alleged perpetrator of the theft for a price much lower than the real one. As a result of various efforts, the researchers managed to identify the person who had really stolen the instrument, of Bulgarian nationality, verifying that he was currently outside of Spain, in his country of origin, so that steps are being made for its location .
Finally, the Dénia National Police agents recovered the clarinet and handed it over to its rightful owner.
