The Local Police of Xàbia has demonstrated, once again, its effectiveness in the face of any type of emergency. This past Friday, the chief mayor, José Antonio Monfort, presented the report of activities and services carried out by the Local Police in 2019.
Monfort said that a total of 7.418 incidents were attended, the vast majority being health-care services, specifically, the figure amounts to more than 700, which represents 30% of the total and almost 200 more than in 2018 that 580 services were registered.
Within this area, it is also necessary to highlight the speed in which the agents are mobilized to attend to the required urgency. On the other hand, in 2019 there were a total of 550 complaints for noise, 300 for citizen security, 200 identifications, 128 notices of suspected fire or 27 for vandalism.
