Since the beginning of July the local police in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell in collaboration with the Civil Guard, is performing routine and dissuasive controls at the entrances to the villages of the municipality. Checks are carried out at any time of day and aim to enhance the security of neighboring and above all, warn criminals that security forces did not let down their guard.
This municipality began the summer with the excellent news of having had a new descent of the crime rates. This makes it one of the safest in Spain by maintaining ideal figures according to the latest data from the Security Board.
From the Department of Safety Poble Nou de Benitatxell directed, Dirk Rheindorf, it is to be maintained and, if possible, improve safety standards that have placed this city as one of the quietest and with the lowest crime rates from Spain.
