The Local Police of Xàbia have located two hikers who had gotten lost at nightfall when they were hiking in the Montgo.
As indicated by the Police, the notice entered at 18:48 hours through 112 and said that two hikers had lost the path near a cave.
The search has been complicated by the fact that the coordinates provided at the beginning have been wrong. Subsequently, 112 provides new coordinates by placing them near the Cova del Gamell path.
The Police Unit that was already in the search has traveled to this path and has been able to locate the two women at around 19:40 p.m.
The agents have waited for the Marina Alta Fire Department, which was also activated in the operation, proceeding to extract the hikers to the safe area and ending the emergency at 20:30 p.m.
