The pianist of Xàbia, Marta Espinós, returns to her hometown with a musical project that will not leave anyone indifferent. On Thursday night 31 of October, the eve of the day of the dead, will offer in the church of Sant Bertomeu Shadow piano A Halloween concert with stories not to sleep, a show specially designed to bring classical music to the younger audience (boys and girls from 9 years).
In the recital, which will start at 21 hours and is free, you can listen to Espinós's interpretation of the darkest songs of Bach, Liszt, Grieg, Mussorgski, Mompou, Falla, Granados, Consuelo Velázquez or Aníbal Troilo. But also, the concert features Fernando Palacios as a narrator.
The cultural activity is organized by the Department of Culture and has the support of the Valencià Institute of Culture and the Ministry.
Marta Espinós, born in Xàbia, is one of the most unusual piano bets on the Spanish scene. Specializing in weaving transversal relationships between music and practically any discipline or subject matter, Marta develops an important facet of musical curator that combines with her piano career and her dissemination vocation and to bring classical and contemporary music to all audiences.
