Through a statement on social networks, the Parish of Our Lady of Loreto de Jávea has decided, due to the situation caused by COVID-19 and as a measure of prevention and coherence, to suspend all its pastoral activity, in a special way The one that is carried out with children and young people with immediate and indefinite effect. Staying at home is strongly recommended.
According to the writing, "Charity is now avoiding and not promoting infections. It is an exercise in civil responsibility". For this reason the Parish of the Sea has also adopted the following measures until further notice:
- The Church will remain open but all Masses will be suspended.
- The Cardinal Archbishop of Valencia exempts the faithful of the Diocese from the Sunday provision, as long as the situation indicated by the health authorities continues. It is recommended to follow the celebrations on TV or other media such as the Internet. Through the Web and our Social Networks we will facilitate TV and Radio programming.
- The Adoration Chapel will remain closed until further notice. It can be prayed in the parish temple.
- All popular piety celebrations such as the Holy Rosary on Wednesdays and the Via Crucis on Fridays are suspended.
- The Secretariat will remain closed to the public. But you can contact us through the contact form on the website www.parroquiadelmar.org and through the Parish Facebook page.
- From Cáritas Parroquial they also suspend the receipt of donations of books, objects or food.
