Half of the students training courses in hospitality and tourism have found employment Xàbia

Economic Development councilors, Cesc Camprubí and Tourism, Pilar Zamora, participated in the closing of the third edition of the workshop to promote employment in hotels and tourism. It is a training activity subsidized by the Javea Town Hall focused on improving the training of unemployed people interested in working in the tourism sector.

Students received their certificates after passing the 80 hours of theoretical training, 20 hours of English and perform 120 hours of practice in hotels, restaurants and local partners in the initiative.

As indicated from the organization, 8 13 of this edition students are currently working, some of them where they performed their practices. Global of the three calls, 24 48 of participants have found jobs, representing half.

Some of them wanted yesterday shared their experience in act which were the coordinators of the course, Ana Catalá, Arline Francis and Cristina Rodriguez, as well as one of the English teachers, Tanya Sedgwick.

For his part, Councilor for Economic Development, Cesc Camprubí, congratulated the participants for addressing unemployment actively fretting about improving their training and wished them the acquired knowledge enabling them to find a job. Also responsible for Tourism, Pilar Zamora, praised the good training of professionals in the hospitality sector is essential to achieving a good quality of tourism in the municipality.
