The new Health update on the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic leaves a terrible data. The death toll increases, suddenly, with 25 new deaths in the Marina Alta region.
The shooting of this figure has caused the total number of deaths in the Dénia Health Department to increase to 136, when 111 had been counted since the start of the pandemic.
The municipalities that have sadly counted new deaths are: Benissa (8), Dénia (4), Calp (5), Teulada (1), El Verger (1), Pego (2), Orba (2), Pedreguer ( 1) and Ràfol d'Almúnia (1).
With the 136 deceased, the death rate is 79 per 100.000 inhabitants in the Marina Alta.
