A total of 70 professionals of the tourism sector have met in Xàbia to attend the day Landscape, ethics and tourism planning in the Region of Valencia. The event was organized by the Valencian Tourism Agency and the Universitat de València.
In this conference on how to improve tourism and find a strategy, the Valencian Tourism Agency has proposed to create the Tourism, Ethics and Hospitality Law. This idea encompasses the culture, gastronomy, tradition and hospitality of people within the same landscape term. And the day on tourism has revolved around a new concept of landscape and territory.
Another point that has been exposed has been the ethical and responsible tourism among Valencian tourism agents. In addition, certain aspects of the white paper presented by the Valencian Tourism Agency have been advanced. The municipalities of the coast and the interior collaborate in it and the public attending the day contributed their proposals at the level of regulations.
El Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, has emphasized the importance of sustainable and responsible tourism, "A line on which the municipality is working in order to respect the environment and the landscape, which, after all, are the main factors that differentiate us".
