The Civil Guard located in good health to an old woman of 85 years, sick of Alzheimer, who was missing for two days in the town of Jalón. The woman was located with symptoms of hypothermia and disoriented.
The last 24 of May a woman reported that her sister, 85 years, had left to walk the afternoon of the previous day, in the area of Solana de Jalón and, since then, had not returned to his home, in that town . Immediately, a search device was set up against the clock, since the disappeared woman suffers from Alzheimer's, needing regular medication for it.
In the work of search have involved members of the Civil Guard of Calpe, Benissa, Jalón, Vergel, the Air Service of Valencia (UHEL), a canine guide specialized in finding people from the Valencia area,
as well as agents of the Local Police of Jalón.
Finally, the woman, of German nationality, was located by the Air Service of the Civil Guard on the morning of the 25 day in May, at the 08: 30 hours, lying in a ditch, near her home. The lady was in
good state of health, although it had obvious symptoms of hypothermia all this despite having been wandering through the countryside, disoriented, for 40 hours, almost two days, during which the circumstance occurred that, moreover, it rained a lot and suffered low temperatures, outdoors.
This same helicopter that located it moved it to the point where the medical service was, being treated there, in the first instance and transferred by ambulance, finally, to the Hospital de Dénia, for a more exhaustive recognition.
