The Civil Guard detained a man of 40 years as alleged author of burning three vehicles in Ondara

The Civil Guard stopped, a few days ago, a man, of Spanish nationality, of 40 years, as alleged perpetrator of a fire crime that took place in the hamlet of Pamis, belonging to the town of Ondara.

The event occurred last January 29 in the afternoon. The fire occurred on the public highway and affected three vehicles, leaving two of them totally burned. The event was serious as it endangered the residents of a nearby building, as the flames almost reached its façade and the entrance to it.

After the facts, the Civil Guard of El Verger immediately initiated efforts to find out who was behind this crime. Everything pointed to a middle-aged man who several witnesses saw running away in a hurry. At the end of that same day the Civil Guard already knew the identity of the presumed author and, first thing in the morning of the day
Following, he proceeded to his arrest in the town of Pedreguer, his place of residence.

On the motives that led this man to burn the vehicles, the Civil Guard investigates if it is possible to deal with some quarrels between acquaintances, since two charred vehicles belong to a relative and a friend of

The detainee was taken to court and has been released on charges of an alleged fire crime with serious risk to the people.
