The Civil Guard dismantles a marijuana plantation in a house in Jávea

The Civil Guard has arrested two residents of Jávea, father and son, for being the alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health (cultivation of marijuana) and for a crime of fraud of electricity.

The operation began on August 17, when the Civil Guard of Jávea learned of the possible existence of a marijuana plantation, located inside a house in that town. The agents of the Judicial Police Team took charge of the investigation, managing to identify the residents of the home in question, these being two British, father and son, aged 44 and 19.

In the home search, carried out last Tuesday, August 25, an important indoor marijuana cultivation facility was found, with high production capacity, in which advanced ventilation systems, air extraction and filters were used. large dimensions. The agents intervened a total of 422 marijuana plants, of medium size.

The two detainees have already been made available to the Court of 1st Instance and Instruction No. 1 of Dénia, being released with charges pending trial and with their passport withdrawn, to avoid leaving the country, until it is held.
