The Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sports has published the call for scholarships salary linked to income for the realization of university studies, aimed at students of the Valencian public universities for the course 2018-2019.
The deadline for submission of applications for this new form of aid, which will be allocated 14.000.000 euros, will start this Saturday 4 in August and end the 5 in October. Students applying for the scholarship must fill out the application form electronically and submit it in the university registers or in the premises provided by Law 39 / 2015.
600 per month
The salary scholarships are intended for students who start their university studies for the first time in the 2018-2019 course, as well as for the students who benefit from these grants in the two previous calls. The beneficiaries will have a salary of up to 600 euros per month per course, which will help finance the cost of carrying out university studies and boost the economy of families with low income levels.
In these grants, the income threshold that is established for families of four members is up to 18.081 euros, and the benefited students must commit themselves to fulfill the academic performance established by the call.
The objective of the salary scholarships is to avoid self-exclusion and to guarantee that the students who start their studies can finish the university education with a salary destined to be trained. In this way, the students can collaborate with their family contributing a salary close to the interprofessional minimum salary of up to 600 euros during the four years of training, provided that it exceeds academically the courses.
