People wanted to go out on the streets and recover the social life from before the pandemic. This was noted at the 36th Xàbia Historical Crafts Fair that took place during the four days of Holy Week.
The more than 60 craft stalls filled the main streets and shops of the historic center with atmosphere, such as the Placeta del Convent, Calle Mayor, Plaça de Baix, Plaza de la Iglesia and the Mercat Municipal. And it is that Xàbia has received a large influx of visitors and tourists at these festivals.
The weather has also accompanied people to go for a walk and enjoy the wide range of leisure activities. The fair opened its stands on Friday and remained until Easter Monday. From the first day it had a huge influx of people. Hundreds of people came to see and buy the products offered by the vendors.
This great citizen response has led both the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Historical Xàbia, as well as from the council, to make a more than positive assessment of the celebration of the Fair in each of the days.
On the other hand, the celebration, again, of the traditional Fair of Associations on Easter Sunday and the opening of the Municipal Market every day has filled with success the leisure offer and the reunion of friends and family.
