The Tapas Fair and the rains have coincided in the occasional edition, however, the public, with or without umbrellas, has not failed the appointment. Although it is true that a gastronomic event without rain is better savored, for this reason the Association of Historical Xàbia and the Town hall from Jávea decided to advance the dates of the tapas so that the weather would allow them to carry out the event without worrying about the rain.
But as the weather at this time of the year is more than unpredictable, the organization has improved this year infrastructures with a tent of 600 meters, although according to the State Meteorological Agency, this tent will serve more than anything so that attendees can shelter from the sun while enjoying delicious tapas in the Plaza de la Constitución as the forecast is of maximum temperatures that will be between the 28 and 29 degrees centigrade. The event will also be enlivened with live performances, live music and a play space for the little ones.
Tomorrow 18: 00 h. will be the opening of this gastronomic cultural event open for dinner session 17 local and will continue on Saturday with a full day of 12: 00 h. at 16: 00 h. and 18: 00 h. to close. Sunday Tapeo Fair opens only during the morning session of 12: 00 h. until 16: 00 h. that is when the tapeo close down until next year's edition.
