The Valencian Community registers a new day without deaths from coronavirus

The Valencian Community has registered in the last 24 hours a total of 46 discharges to patients with coronavirus, so the total number of cured persons now amounts to 17.134 people and 16 new cases have been confirmed, of which 5 in the province of Alicante and that they put the total figure in the Community at 11.705 people. Currently 288 cases remain active.

Likewise, the provinces of Valencia and Castellón no longer have patients in intensive care units for coronavirus, a piece of news that the Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló, has considered very positive: "These are data that invite hope, but without forgetting that we must continue to be prudent. Only in this way will we be able to maintain them and set the path to fight the virus. "

Along these lines, Valencian hospitals currently have 53 people admitted: 7 in the province of Castellón, with no ICU patients; 18 in the province of Alicante, 4 of them in the ICU; and 28 in the province of Valencia, without ICU patients.

No deaths from coronavirus have been reported, so the total number remains at 1.476 people. The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus has been 479.687 of which 353.324 have been through PCR and 126.363 through rapid tests.
