The Community has 30.000 people cured of COVID-19

The Valencian Community has registered 599 discharges to patients with coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of people cured since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 29.996, and there are also 85 discharges not assigned.

On the other hand, the number of new coronavirus infections confirmed by PCR test amounts to 672, which puts the total number of positives at 28.550 people.

Valencian hospitals currently have 465 people admitted: 52 in the province of Castellón, with 7 patients in ICU; 143 in the province of Alicante, 30 of them in the ICU; and 270 in the province of Valencia, 34 of them in the ICU. Thus, there are currently 5.826 active cases, representing 15.59% of the total positives.

On the other hand, there have been 2 deaths from coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of deaths is 1.538 people.

The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 899.722, of which 755.598 have been through PCR and 144.124 through rapid tests.

The situation in residences, to date, there are some positive cases in 52 residences for the elderly (4 in the province of Castellón, 17 in the province of Alicante and 32 in the province of Valencia), 6 centers for people with functional diversity ( 2 in the province of Castellón, 1 in Alicante and 3 in Valencia) and 5 centers for minors (1 in the province of Castellón, 3 in the province of Alicante and 1 in the province of Valencia).
