Next Sunday, September 17, Colla Xirimitab's de Xàbia will sweeten the ears of all attendees with their two concerts belonging to the XX Musical Exchange Campaign. The first of them will be at 12:00 p.m., on Marqués de Campo de Dénia street, next to the Grup de Danses Dianium Dansa.
With the commitment to preserve and disseminate traditional Valencian culture through dance, the Colla Xirimitab's of Xàbia will participate in this meeting together with the children's and senior groups of the Grup de Danses Dianium Dansa.
On the other hand, at 18:30 p.m., the second appointment of this exchange meeting will be in Xàbia, specifically, in the Placeta el Convent.
La Colla Xirimitab's de Xàbia is a group made up of dulzainas and percussion, with Josep Alemany as director. This group, during its 15 years of life, has become known for being one of the most multidisciplinary groups in the region. Without leaving the traditional repertoire behind. They have performed arrangements by well-known artists and groups such as Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones, Bruno Mars, Queen, Abba and many others.
Another point of reference are the concerts, where year after year they surprise with themes as diverse as they are fun, such as the 'De Movie' concert in 2015, 'Xiri Big-Band' in 2017 or this year's concert 'La Joia más preada' where it was possible to enjoy, in addition to the music, the text and narration of the writer Pepa Guardiola and the collaboration of the Garum Teatre company.
