Around 22:30 p.m. this Friday there has been an accident on the road that connects Xàbia with Dénia, known as the flat road. According to witnesses to the accident, the vehicle that was traveling in the direction of Dénia has invaded the opposite direction, thus colliding with another car that was traveling along that road and moving it off the road.
The accident occurred at the beginning of the flat road from Xàbia, just at the curve located in the vicinity of the Hermitage of Calvari. The Local Police of Xàbia has quickly gone to the scene of the accident. At first, and according to witnesses, there have been no serious injuries in the spectacular accident, but it has forced the road to be closed until the damaged cars can be removed. At the moment the causes that have caused the driver to leave the road are unknown.
