The campaign to collect clothing Portal de la Marina 'In autumn we go recycling'has managed to exceed all expectations. With the participation of more than 2.000 people in the first two weekends, € 3.116 has been distributed among the participants. This success has caused Portal de la Marina to expand its contribution from € 4.000 to € 5.000.
You can still get close to Portal de la Marina and donate your clothes, which will be managed by Gentalia and later donated to Spanish Red Cross and Caritas. The garments are divided into three large totems that are emptied often due to the large number of contributions.
To facilitate participation in the campaign to many more people, now for each garment € 0.50 will be received in vouchers / money to spend in the stores of the Shopping Center (until December 12). Previously they were distributed between € 0.50 and € 1 depending on whether they were winter or summer garments. It should be remembered that garments must be donated in good condition.
This clothing collection campaign will end on November 22. In addition, this weekend workshop will be held for children and adults to learn techniques to recycle and reuse items. The workshops will be held at 12, 13, 16, 17, 18 and 19 hours and will be completely free.
