The Xàbia Library opens this Friday an exhibition dedicated to one of the most important Valencian writers and intellectuals of the XNUMXth century.
"Joan Fuster, an illustrated life" chronologically traces the life and work of the essayist born in Sueca (1922-1992) through fourteen exhibition panels that collect documents from his collection -manuscripts and typewritten texts, press articles, work notes and reading cards, covers of first editions of the books he published, among others – and his photographic archive, which allows illustrating a personality so observed, portrayed and photographed.
The exhibition, promoted by the Institució de les Lletres Valencianes based on an exhibition by the Valencian Academy of Language, will be held from September 16 to 23 at the Library facilities on Carrer Major (Calle Mayor).
