Next Friday 20 in July, in the Plaza de la Iglesia in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, at 22: 30 hours, there will be a special concert by the band of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. On the occasion of the beginning of the patron saint festivities in honor of Santa María Magdalena, the band will fuse the best live music with the radio programs of dedications.
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, Child of the moon from Mecano, What a wonderful world by Louis Amstrong, Noelia by Nino Bravo or It’s my life de Bon Jovi are some of the themes that the Municipal Music Group Santa María Magdalena will perform at the concert entitled On Air Viu the Band.
The show will simulate a program of dedications directed by the announcer Jordi Company that will give the magic touch of the radio of always with the dedications between piece and piece. The Councilor for Culture, Manolo Segarra, Has stated that "This concert will condense all the magic of the dedications on the radio with the direct of our band. We have never lived it in that format. There will be tears and a lot of emotion".
The preparation of the concert, directed by Javier Pinto, has required a previous work of compilation, elaboration of the repertoire and rehearsal of the pieces that will thrill the public.
