Women Entrepreneurs Association of Jávea presents its project for participatory budgeting

30 September 2013 - 00: 00

Is the deadline for submitting draft citizens for participatory budgeting, remember that these budgets are a bunch of money that goes to those projects that have been submitted by citizens of Javea and which are then reviewed and voted on by a jury.

In this sense, the Women Entrepreneurs of Jávea, during the meal that they celebrated last Saturday to celebrate the agreement with AEPA, the Javiense Association, which has more than 400 associated women entrepreneurs, explained to the attendees the project that they had presented to the Town hall of Jávea so that they are taken into account in the participatory budgets. The MEJ project has a double purpose: to reduce the number of unemployed in the town, which now has 1.800 unemployed, facilitating access to the labor market for the people of Javión through the promotion of the local economy, and on the other hand, to give life to the local architectural heritage.

The MEJ project, which would involve a total of 10.645 euros, aims to boost the local economy by enabling Riurau d'Arnauda with shops and products of artisans, artists and antique dealers with quality local products. For this there will be a previous phase of selection and training of those interested in participating in this project since the places will be limited to 30. Also in this space, which would be open to the public on Saturday mornings to also facilitate the assistance of people to historic Xàbia, stands will also be offered to disabled groups and senior citizens' groups to value their craftsmanship.

Now this project will be studied by the jury and will also be put to a citizen vote, like the rest of the projects that are almost 70.
