El Javea Town Hall He granted, in a municipal plenary session, the Villa de Xàbia Award for Solidarity, to Francisco Pastor Español, better known as 'Kiko Bola' and as he likes to be called. Although he is going through difficult times, he is quite recovered from his last intervention. Pastor explains that it is difficult for him to speak since he has lost some memory. 'Kiko Bola' is grateful and excited, at the same time that he is surprised, knowing that he is awarded this award, since, as he indicates, "I do not know why I have been awarded this important award, I have not done anything and everything I have done has been in solidarity events both culturally, sports or altruistic".
And, our protagonist today was, in his day, the largest blood donor in Spain. Pastor, remember, that his first donation was the 25 of April of 1971 and last year he had the opportunity to make his last donation. In addition, due to his long professional career or his dedication to different agencies of the municipality, they make 'Kiko Bola' a well-known person among the residents of Xàbia.
