The Department of Youth of Xàbia has organized, for the second consecutive year, a contest aimed at rock groups, pop-rock of the Marina Alta. The prize will be to act in the fifth edition of the Montgorock Festival that will take place next May.
The registration period starts on Thursday 2 in February and ends on 28 this month. To this contest can present all those rock groups that at least half of the components are registered in a municipality of the Marina Alta. Registration will be made through monjove@monjove.net or Monjove Xàbia (Plaça de Baix, 6) between the 09.00 hours of the 2 day in February and the 14.00 hours of the 28 in February.
Interested parties must provide the registration: Group name, contact telephone number, email address, group curriculum, discography or published models, link to social media channels on topics and group performances. Minors must accompany the application with an authorization signed by the parents or legal guardian.
The selection process will be carried out through online voting by the public between the 1 and the 26 of March through the website of the Montgorock Festival. The communication of the three finalists will be the March 27 and the final, which will be an 30 live minutes performance on the next 8 in April. The evaluation, on the day of the final, will be carried out by an independent jury provided by the Montgorock organization.
The winning group will act in the edition of Montgorock 2017 and will be incorporated into the official program. In addition, its members will have passes for the whole festival. Regarding the finalist groups, its components will have passes for the whole festival.
