Bas Codina Juan Bautista presented in the library Duanes his book on the municipal administration of Jávea in the eighteenth century

The writer of Jávea, Juan Bautista Codina Bas, will present on March 14 his book "The municipal administration in the eighteenth century. Xàbia (1760-1795) Own and Excise Duties of a Villa of Señorío del Reyno de Valencia". The presentation will be at the Duanes Library at 19:00 p.m. and the author will accompany the Mayor of Jávea, José Chulvi, and the mayor of Culture, Empar Bolufer.

The story tells how Carlos III wanted the city administration to submit its accounts an annual basis. The aim was to control spending each municipality to avoid extravagance absurd. In the book of life of the inhabitants of Jávea between 1760 and 1795, labor activity of the villa and other aspects such as parties or transfers of fifth among many other things also it appears.
