Jávea launches organic farming courses

The Department of Economic Development of the Town hall de Jávea has launched an organic farming course that began yesterday, Tuesday, November 29, and about 30 people have signed up. The courses are offered free of charge by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries after the Consell agrari requested it from the City Council.

Teachers, members of the Experimental Estacio Agrarian Carcaixent, taught for three mornings notions related to marketing and product diversity, health treatments and authorized for organic branch to treat pests and diseases and techniques to treat the soil and make products fertile thanks to natural fertilizers.

El mayor of Economic Development, Juan Luís Cardona, has indicated that one of the objectives of this course is to keep active the project to recover agriculture as a productive sector and in this way that it can be another sector to create work. Cardona has also added that it has facilitated the implementation in the weekly market of a new stall that will be exclusively for the local product.
