Sustainable Mediterranean gardens for water savings

A green garden full of flowers always attracts attention. An image that sometimes supposes complicated before the situation of scarcity of water, but not impossible.

According to they have manifested from the municipal company of Waters, Amjasa, there are models of Mediterranean garden that need less irrigation "and this action is what we want to carry out in an informative day within the water saving campaign".

And, from Amjasa is organizing a training workshop on sustainable Mediterranean gardening for gardeners and individuals in which they will give advice and information on how to enjoy a perfect garden with native species that mean less water maintenance, "Since water is a scarce and precious asset and therefore its rational and main use must be human consumption and not the maintenance of demanding gardens, especially in times of drought", they highlighted from the local water company.

The day would be given by members of the local company Sustainable Garden, who would explain their work model and results obtained and by the Garden of l'Albarda, located in the town of Pedreguer.
