What they are known for is the Oosterscheldekering, an immense containment dam for seawater to avoid flooding. A magnificent work of Civil Engineering.
    TOTALLY AGREE

What they are known for is the Oosterscheldekering, an immense containment dam for seawater to avoid flooding. A magnificent work of Civil Engineering, what here we don't even know what it means... Civil Engineering? What strange things... And in the documentary they only show the bike lanes? Without the dam and the drainage systems that they have, nothing would exist. Everything would be flooded. They could take an example here for when Denia floods.
