The Civil Guard has intercepted, this morning, a patera in Cala Ambolo with some 11 people on board. Immigrants, upon reaching the shore, have tried to escape from security agents, although finally, nine have been arrested, all of them male, of Moroccan origin between 15 and 25 years, as reported by the Red Cross Alicante.
The intervention also involved the Local Police of Xàbia and the Red Cross Jávea, which has intervened to provide humanitarian and health assistance. Likewise, the health teams are on alert in case they need medical attention, although at the moment everyone is in good health.
At the moment the search continues to locate the other two immigrants who were aboard the boat.
The detainees, who have remained in the Civil Guard units and will be brought to justice.
With this patera, there are already five the number of vessels of this type located in the last 30 hours on the Alicante coast.
The ship arriving in Ambolo has been transferred to the port of Xàbia.
