The fire of a van has created the alarm in one of the Arenal roundabouts. The incident occurred on 21 hours, when the driver of the same has detected smoke coming out of the interior of the hood. He stopped the engine and when he went down and opened he saw flames coming out. The driver himself has called the local police on the impossibility of extinguishing the fire.
Immediately there is a local police patrol, two Civil Guard cars, a Civil Protection truck and one of the firefighters who have been the ones who have finally stifled the fire. The van was in the middle of the roundabout that had to be closed to traffic. It will remain closed until the damaged vehicle is removed.
Lost business
The most positive aspect of this fire is that no one has been mourned. The worst thing is that the van has been totally ominous and all the merchandise that was inside has been burned being totally unusable.
The owner of the damaged vehicle has commented to Xàbia.com what, "I lost all my business that went inside the van and everything has become unusable". The owner of the van is one of those who habitually mounted his stall on the walk of the tennis player David Ferrer.
