The athlete, Ignacio Cardona, was proclaimed regional champion of Vertical Kilometer, after the victory achieved in the Puig Campana de Finestrat.
Cardona got the title of regional champion of veteran category. The Xabiero finished the test in the fifth place of the absolute classification with a record of 42 minutes and 53 seconds.
The test was hard, with the ascent to the Puig Campana, of 3.650 meters, with 1.020 of positive slope. Cardona was again in the group of the best demonstrating its enormous potential.
Along with Cardona another regional athlete, Laurence Rastell, of the Athletics Club participated Baleària Diànium, who was also proclaimed regional champion of Master 50 category. Rastell finished the test in the 79 position of the absolute classification with a time of 1 hour and 9 minutes.
