El Town hall de Jávea and the City Council of Aachen, a German city that is the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, have come together with the intention of creating a cultural exchange. This project will bring together 16 German artists during the month of August who will exhibit their works in Ca Lambert (Main Street, 41), The Casa del Cable (Avenida Marina Española) and the Al Marge gallery (Calle Virgen del Pilar, 9).
The opening of the exhibition "Aachen in Xàbia", will take place at 20:00 p.m. in Ca Lambert. At 20:45 p.m. It will be the turn of the inauguration in Al Marge, where there is only one work by each author exhibited as a summary, and the tour will be finished at Casa del Cable at 21:30 p.m. None of these works, which include photography, painting, sculpture, installation and video, has been expressly created for this exhibition since, as you think the artists, the works are born alone at a given moment of inspiration.
In September it will be the turn of local artists, "Xàbia in Aachen", who will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in the German city of Aachen, avant-garde city in which culture and art are above many other things. Victor Alba, Joan Castejón, Vicente Colom, Josep Ginestar, Juan Carlos López Davis, Renate Müller Drehsen, Evarist Navarro, Manolo Oyonarte, María Luísa Pérez, Ignacio Puras, Toni Santacreu and Lucía Zalbidea, will be in the German city from 8 to 30 of September, being part of this cultural exchange from which they expect good results and to be repeated in other editions.
