Marina Health is the health company providing public health service in the Alicante region of the Marina Alta.
The Department of Health has Dénia Hospital 1, 4 Integrated Health Centers, Health Centers 8, 34 2 offices and additional offices during the summer.
Since its launch, in 2009, Marina Salud has expanded its portfolio of services with new specialties and techniques that allow residents of the Marina Alta to be treated in its hospital, without the need to travel to other nearby health centers. Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery or Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery are some of these recently incorporated specialties. It also offers minimally invasive techniques with fast and efficient procedures, betting on teamwork and the exchange of knowledge.
Marina Salud has managed to place the Department of Health of Dénia among the departments with the best healthcare indicators in the Valencian Community. In these first years of management, he has considerably reduced waiting times, both in surgeries and in visits to the Hospital's specialists.
Currently has the highest level of implementation of electronic health records and has been credited as one of the most technological hospitals in Europe.
