The Official Gazette of the Valencian Community has published a new line of extraordinary aid linked to the crisis caused by COVID-19. Contemplated within the Resistir Plan, a plan promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana and focused on aid to all those sectors affected by the coronavirus pandemic, are the aid intended for artisans, artisans and artisan SMEs linked to the world of the party with which A total of 7 million euros will be allocated.
This line of aid is direct and is intended for crafts professionals linked to the traditional festivals of the Valencian Community who were harmed by the cancellation of the festivities both in 2020 and, predictably, in 2021.
The deadline for submitting applications will start on March 1, 2021 and end on the 15th of the same month, both inclusive, and craft professionals may obtain a maximum grant of 7.000 euros. If the available credit is not sufficient to meet all the requests made, the grants will be granted pro rata among all those requests that meet the requirements.
The settlement and payment of the aid will be made once the fulfillment of the requirements has been justified with the documentation presented along with the application.
The requirements that must be met are: be in possession of the artisan qualification document (DCA), updated and issued by the Generalitat, or an equivalent document issued by a public administration that certifies their artisan status; exercise their activity in the Valencian Community at least since March 1, 2020 and have suffered a reduction of at least 30% of income in 2020 compared to 2019.
For processing, the application must be submitted, within the indicated period, electronically (an advanced electronic signature is required) at the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat.
